building confidence

​It was hard for me to be confident growing up and having natural hair because not only did no one look like me, but people were also picking on me for wearing my natural curls. 

It wasn't until I got to high school that people and society were finally "accepting" of natural hair. Now years later I love scrolling through Instagram and walking down the street and seeing people who look like me, and who love rocking their kinks, curls and fros.
