Hey guys,
Hope you are doing GREAT! Today I am going to go through some essential products that you need when traveling with natural hair. So depending on the length of the trip I bring different things based on what style I am currently wearing. Products I bring:
Overnight trip: If I am staying overnight I will likely just bring an oil with me just because its a quick trip, and I will apply the oil to my hair either that night or the following morning for a little extra shine. 2-3 days: This is a little longer of a trip so I am definitely going to be packing a leave in conditioner or water, and oil. Depending on the style you can also bring some gel if you need to re-define some of your curls. Since I normally wear twists, I will just spritz my hair with some water and or leave in conditioner (you can use both) and make sure that is really worked into my hair and then I will seal that in with some of my Bare Your Hair Peppermint Oil which will also give me shine. 4+ days: Staying four or more days sometimes requires a few more products. I will do the exact same steps from above, but If my hair needs more moisture than that then I will bring along some of my Bare Your Hair ButterCream. I will add that after I have spritzed my hair with water or leave in conditioner and then I will add my oil after to seal everything in. Once I have finished my hair, I will probably wrap my twists with some bobby pins to keep my twists streched and then add a scarf to lay down any fly always, and to keep the style laid and smooth. If I am traveling to the beach I will still follow the exact same steps from day 4, and I will also bring a conditioner or a shampoo to wash my hair after beach days. You can always customize this routine and products that you use based on you hair style and the products that you like. Bare Your Hair

Hey Guys,
I wanted to give you a couple of quick tips for getting the perfect twist out. When unraveling your twists make sure that you start from the bottom and work your way to the top, by doing this your are ensuring that your twists come out with minimal frizz, breakage and lots of definition. You also want to make sure that your hair is properly moisturized and defined when installing your twists. If you are installing your twists and notice that your hair is already frizzy or is starting to get dry, then simply add more product to your hair to ensure that it comes out soft and moisturized. A tip: However your hair looks when apply the product is typically how your hair is going to look when you are styling or taking your twists out, so make sure that your looks moisturized and defined before twisting. Once your hair is FULLY dry apply a small amount of oil the your hands and begin taking your twists out, then style as normal. Bare Your Hair All Bare Your Hair Oils, can be applied daily when moisturizing the hair or doing scalp massages. If you do not wish to use the oil daily, you can simply use the oil as a hot oil treatment or when deep conditioning. ⠀
⠀ If you are using doing scalp massages I highly recommend massaging for at least 15 minutes. ⠀ ⠀ The oils can be applied at least twice a day. Bare Your Hair Hey,
Today's blog is going to be pretty quick, because this method takes literally seconds to do. So whenever I am about to do my hair, I always check to see if my products are going to work well together before I start anything. I do this especially if I am using multiple products from different brands. 1. Chose the products that you want to use. It can be just two products or it can be more depending on the style that you're doing. However I just prefer to do it with two products so that I know for sure what works and what doesn't. 2. Make sure that your hand is clean to start off with. Apply a small drop of the first product to the back of your hand, and then apply a small drop of your second product into the same spot. 3. Mix. Slowly rub together your two products and see what results you get. Clumpy: Your products do not work well together, do not try putting them into your hair. Clear/Smooth: If you mix together your two products and they soak directly into your skin, then you have found a perfect match! This means that your products work great together and its time to start styling your hair. White/ Smooth: Mixing your products and they seem to mix but are just white and have not yet soaked into your skin yet. When this happens I still like to use the product combination because I know that they can still work together. But in the end it is up to you if you want to use that combination or not. In my opinion you can use every product combination you try, EXCEPT if they turn out clumpy. I hope this helps. Bare Your Hair Hey!

Benefits: -Moisturize your hair -Get healthy hair growth -Strengthen your hair How To: I love using this cream when doing pretty much any style on my hair. I apply my leave in and then go in with my ButterCream to moisturize my hair as well as my Bare Your Hair Peppermint Oil to seal all of that moisture in. I love using Bare Your Hair ButterCream specifically when doing mini twists because it keeps my hair moisturized throughout the duration of my protective style. Who is it for: Bare Your Hair ButterCream is perfect for anyone looking to moisturize and grow their beautiful thick and tight textured hair. If your hair is on the thinner side this product may still be used, but extremely sparingly seeing that it is a thicker cream it may weigh your hair down.
